HARDFACING

Large land clearing operations require specialty equipment. This Vermeer Tub Grinder needed hard facing welding rod to build back up the low spots on the drum that holds the hammers in place. This process requires a lot of preheating to get the correct results.  

Our customer had lost their security lug nut socket leaving them without many options for putting new tires on their truck. We were able to remove the lug by arc gouging the lug nut entirely .
